Steve Grisbrook @ The Grover
February 22 @ 9:00 pm - 11:59 pm
No tickets required… A community inspired, grassroots blues event.
Singer/Guitarist Steve Grisbrook has been entertaining audiences all over Southern Ontario for the last 35 years. In addition to hosting many long standing high profile Open Stage Jams, Steve has held residency in the Niagara area for over 10 years, fronting two different bands and backing up some of Canada’s best Blues and Rock artists. He has been fortunate to bring his music to many festival stages worldwide, and has had extensive airplay on radio stations from one end of the globe to the other. Citing Jeff Beck, Steely Dan, T-Bone Walker, and Miles Davis as some of his main influences, it would not be stretch, to hear a little reggae, country or hard rock in his sets, just to keep his audience guessing!
He’s played on over 40 recordings, and sang on almost as many, and in some cases, donned the producer/engineer’s hat.
He’s played with Chicago Pete, Jeff Healey, Joe Hunter, Downchild Blues Band, and a member of Canal Banks Shuffle Guitar Wars alumni.
Steve never set out to be a blues guitar player, and never claimed to be one., A different day, a different style, but always entertaining.
